Mamas and baby goats
We received three pregnant goats (Cersei, Raella and Caitlin) from animal control from a case where they found several diseased animals on a farm property. The animals that were still alive had no food or water. They arrived in a blizzard and each gave birth to twin kids two weeks later over the week of Valentine’s Day. They are up for adoption as each family unit (mama and two babies). The babies are very well socialized and friendly. The moms are friendly but prefer to stay back with people they don’t know and groups. Please reach out to info@abrahamranch.com for more information.

Grace (Gracie)
Grace (Gracie) is a 10-year-old black Tennessee Walker mare. She is smart, sensitive and very sweet. She loves to give kisses in the form of licks. We feel that due to her high energy level and enthusiasm for work, she would do best with an advanced rider or a rider working with a trainer. Gracie lunges well, loves to be groomed, gets along well with other horses and loaded in the trailer without any problems. She was a little anxious to get her hoofs trimmed but did well. We have only had her under saddle a few times, but she is doing great. We will continue to work with her until she finds her person and forever home. We love Gracie so much, but she deserves a dedicated person or family of her own. To learn more about Gracie, please email us.

Bruce
Tony, Bruce, Clark and Peter came from a horrible situation in Pennsylvania where the prior owners are facing charges, including aggravated cruelty to animals (torture) and animal neglect (including lack of food, water and vet care). They were terrified of people when they first arrived, but after working with them slowly on a daily basis, they now love pets and cuddles. They are all less a year old, castrated and vaccinated.
Bruce is a very sweet and friendly special needs pig who is a Mule foot cross. He had a cyst on his side that required a stay at the veterinary hospital at MSU where it was lanced and drained. His wound still has to be cleaned daily as we allow it to heal from the inside. Bruce has some issues with his hooves that could be lifelong and possibly get more complicated as he ages and gains weight, but our farrier and veterinarians are working on helping him. Bruce is very food motivated, and his favorite snacks are prunes and bananas (we hide his medication in these. Don't tell him!). He will be on an antibiotic for another month and is going back to MSU for a follow up on September 25th. He should be healed and ready for his forever home after that. He has been separated from Tony, Clark and Bruce since his hospitalization but could be reintroduced after he’s healed. If you are interested in adopting Bruce, please email info@abrahamranch.com.

Tony is the leader of this little pack and is a Potbelly Kune Kune mix. He loves getting scratches and time in mud puddles and is very food motivated.

Clark is a Potbelly Kune Kune mix who loves treats and will follow you everywhere in the pasture. He rolls over for belly rubs and loves "snorfing" around in the pasture for hidden treats. He really loves his friends and would Ideally stay together.

Peter is a Potbelly Kune Kune mix (he has one cute little waffle) and is the snuggliest out of the group. He loves scratches and rolls over and closes his eyes for belly rubs. He loves his friends and would prefer to stay with them.

PIG, (Phoebe Ingrid Genevieve)
Phoebe is a 9 year old potbelly pig. She lived her entire life with one family, where she was an indoor house pig but also had access to a back yard. She is slowly getting used to having many caregivers and is sweet but shy with us. Her original family had to re-home her, but they still love her and come to visit. She loves them so much and give snuggles and happy grunts when they visit, which is heartwarming and heart breaking all at the same time. We would love for her to find her forever person who will give her a loving home and a warm bed for the rest of her days. She is senior pig and not used to living outside in the cold Michigan winters, so we are hoping she gets adopted soon. She loves carrots, sitting in the sunshine and big blankets to fix her bed "just" right. She is up to date on vaccinations and her hoofs were done in the spring before arriving at the ranch.

Gary
Gary is a quiet and sweet goat who we believe to be on the older side. Gary was abandoned when his family was evicted. He was on his own for about a month, and then some neighbors discovered him in their backyard emaciated and lonely. They built him a beautiful stall in the garage and gave him a pasture and plenty of love and food, but they soon realized he needed a farm with farm friends to live his best life. He is not a fighter so he is looking for a less spicy goat family. He is fully vaccinated, CL negative and his hooves are in good condition.
